About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Prestige Artificial Lawns website and to any quote, installation or service we provide. By using the site or engaging us, you agree to these terms.
Prestige Artificial Lawns is operated in New South Wales, Australia.
Website use
You may browse our website, view our gallery and contact us for a quote. You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems.
- Copy or reproduce any content without written permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use.
All content on this site — including text, photographs, logos and layout — is owned by Prestige Artificial Lawns or used with permission.
Quotes
Quotes we provide are based on the information you give us and, where applicable, a site inspection. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. We may need to adjust a quote if site conditions on the day differ materially from those assumed (for example, unexpected ground conditions, buried services, or additional preparation work).
Quotes are GST-inclusive unless stated otherwise.
Bookings and payment
A booking is confirmed when you accept our written quote. We typically request a deposit to secure a start date, with the balance payable on completion. Payment terms will be set out in your quote.
If payment is not received within the agreed period, we reserve the right to charge interest or recover reasonable collection costs.
Work performed
We'll carry out installations with reasonable care and skill, using the materials and methods described in your quote. We'll take reasonable steps to protect your property during the work.
Once the lawn is installed and signed off, it's your responsibility to follow any care instructions we provide (available on request).
Warranty
The synthetic turf we supply comes with an 8-year manufacturer's warranty against UV fading and fibre breakdown, subject to the manufacturer's terms. Warranty claims relating to the product are handled through the manufacturer; we'll assist where we can.
We warrant our installation workmanship for 12 months from completion, provided the lawn has been used and maintained in a reasonable manner.
Our warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, vandalism, fire, flood or extreme weather.
- Damage caused by chemicals, solvents, fuels or other contaminants.
- Normal wear and tear over time.
- Issues arising from changes made to the installation by someone other than us.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under that law, including that they are of acceptable quality and fit for their purpose.
Cancellations
You may cancel a booking before work starts by giving us written notice. If we've already incurred costs (materials ordered, site prep commenced) we may retain your deposit or charge a reasonable cancellation fee to cover those costs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to our services is limited, at our option, to either:
- Re-supplying the services, or
- Refunding the price paid for the services.
We're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of income or loss of amenity).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
